Monkeeroos Partners with Bundle of Joy to Support New Mothers at High Point Regional Hospital

Monkeeroos is thrilled to announce our partnership with Bundle of Joy, a nonprofit organization founded in 2023 by Morgan Qubein, Tori Ilderton, and Lauren Britton. This collaboration aims to provide essential support to delivering mothers at High Point Regional Hospital, helping them to meet their newborns' basic needs and alleviate some of the stress and challenges of early motherhood.

Bundle of Joy is dedicated to ensuring that every new mother at High Point Regional Hospital receives a comprehensive bundle of essentials. Each bundle includes swaddles, diapers, wipes, a thermometer, diaper cream, nipple pads, a water bottle, and a Monkeeroos onesie. These items are thoughtfully packaged in a versatile diaper bag that transforms into a changing station or bassinet, promoting safe sleep practices for infants.

Studies have shown that mothers who cannot provide for the basic needs of their newborns struggle with postpartum depression at a higher rate, experience higher levels of stress, and lack competence. "Addressing these issues is a core mission of Bundle of Joy, and the most crucial element of each bundle is the information packet included. This packet provides resources and guidance for mothers on where they can seek additional help and support beyond the initial bundle" says Lauren Britton, co-founder of Bundle of Joy and President & CEO of Monkeeroos.

In addition to the bundles, Bundle of Joy also provides car seats and pack-and-plays to those in need, ensuring that mothers and their babies have access to vital resources for their health and safety.

Monkeeroos is proud to be part of this meaningful initiative. Every purchase from Monkeeroos contributes to providing diapers and clothes to mothers in need. This partnership underscores our commitment to giving back to the community and supporting families during one of the most critical times in their lives.

Together, Monkeeroos and Bundle of Joy are making a difference, one bundle at a time.

The next award was presented to a very smart young woman. Morgan Qubein was the first recipient of four Heart of the Community Awards. Morgan is the founder of Bundle of Joy, a new program that gives out bags full of essential items, including diapers, wipes, thermometer, a swaddle, a “onesie” and more, to every new mother. There are over 1,400 births annually at High Point Medical Center. Shelby told me the bag folds out into a safe sleeping bassinet. Morgan Qubein, you are incredible!

The second recipient of the Heart of Community Award was Tori Ilderton, who is so dedicated to Bundle of Joy that she brought her 1-week-old baby, Wilson, an honorary committee member, as she helped pack bundles.

The third recipient of the Heart of the Community was Lauren Britton, whose company, Monkeeroos, donates all the onesies included in the Bundle of Joy bags. Again, that is over 1,400 a year!
